The Qingming Memorial Chanting Service
Co-organized by Rose Hills Memorial Park and I.B.P.S. Buddhist Memorial Columbarium

Filial piety is considered an essential virtue in the Chinese culture, and paying respect to one’s ancestors is one of the most important ways to cultivate it.

Rose Hills Memorial Park and I.B.P.S. Buddhist Columbarium are co-organizing the Annual Qingming Festival – Memorial Chanting Ceremony on Sunday April 13, 2025.

The ceremony consists of three sessions, and each comprises the chanting of the Amitabha Sutra, reciting the Buddha’s name, repentance, and making vows to be reborn to the Amitabha Buddha’s Pure Land.

Participants are welcome to make offering of incense at the venue to pay respect to their ancestors and deceased beloved ones.

Date and Time: April 13, 2025 (Sunday) from 1:30pm to 6:00pm
